Our Story
Our founders learned the value of metadata in the crucible of crisis. Shirshanka Das led the creation of DataHub, a high-performance metadata platform to solve LinkedIn’s GDPR compliance issues. Swaroop Jagadish helped build Airbnb’s DataPortal, using metadata to standardize business metrics crucial for the company’s IPO success.
DataHub has carried forward those innovations to build a Context Platform that is powered by the #1 open-source AI data catalog. DataHub uses enterprise-wide metadata to give comprehensive context, so analysts, engineers, and AI models can safely use and manage data.
The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, and serves customers globally.
